The remarkable Corolla 50 Million Edition is equipped with Toyota’s hybrid system, which comprising of an aspirated 1.8-liter engine and an electric motor, they both deliver 122 horsepower, transmitting the power into the front wheels through a CVT gearbox, there’s also an all-wheel-drive E-Four variant with the same exact output, but it will be offered only in specific models (Sedan & Touring).
As for the exterior design of the new edition, it will be launched with different color palettes such as matte black, the Army Rock Metallic, Precious Metal, and many more modish colors, as it will provide the models with solid 16 or 17-inch aluminum wheels.
Unique exterior touches include glossy black lower grilles, a rear spoiler, and "50 Million Edition" badging on the front fenders.
Furthermore, the cabin specs of the new edition include distinctive “50 Million Edition” badges, and special trim options including synthetic leather upholstery with red, gold, or orange stitching, in addition, Toyota tend always to evolve its ways in manufacturing cabin systems, for that, it included the Rezatec material on the seats that eliminates static electricity from the passenger’s clothes.
For On the technology front, Toyota has provided the cabin with Standard equipment of a 9-inch infotainment screen, luxurious 6-speaker audio system, air purification system, and several advanced driver assistance systems “ADAS”.
The Corolla 50 Million Edition will be launched in the Japanese market with three models, as follows:
- Corolla Sedan: a four-door sedan, with a starting price of ¥2,835,000 Japanese yen, equivalent to 17,609 JOD
- Corolla Sport: a 5-door hatchback, with a starting price of ¥2,830,000 Japanese yen, equivalent to 17,573 JOD
- Corolla Touring: (estate) a long hatchback, with a starting price of ¥2,884,500 yen, equivalent to 17,880 JOD
