The long-awaited GR Corolla is finally making its debut on Middle Eastern roads. Developed directly under the renowned Toyota GAZOO Racing team and its philosophy of “building ever-better cars through motorsports,”. GR Corolla: Legacy Meets Modernity
The GR Corolla is powered by a 1.6-liter G16E-GTS turbocharged 3 cylinder Dynamic Force Engine, the same engine found in Toyota’s WRC-inspired models. Designed to be lightweight and compact yet highly powerful, it delivers 296 HP at 6,500 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 3,250–4,600 rpm.
This engine was tested extensively on the track, as it provides strong mid-range acceleration for smooth corner exits, also, it's built to handle intense and prolonged driving conditions.
Power is delivered through the GR-FOUR active torque-split all-wheel drive system, which constantly adjusts torque to all four wheels for optimal traction and precise handling. Drivers can opt for a six-speed manual transmission for a fully engaging, driver-focused experience, or the eight-speed GR-DAT (GAZOO Racing Direct Automatic Transmission), tuned for quick, high-performance responses.
A finely tuned chassis, featuring MacPherson struts at the front and double wishbones at the rear, perfectly complements the GR Corolla’s drivetrain for sharp, responsive handling.
Interior and Exterior Features
The GR Corolla’s exterior design is shaped by motorsport-inspired engineering. Its airflow system boosts downforce, minimizes drag, and keeps the car stable under demanding conditions. A front-mounted sub-radiator improves engine cooling, while larger grille openings channel air efficiently to the cooling components, including the brakes, radiator, and intercooler.
The bumper and grille are sculpted to channel airflow from the front to the sides, while functional ducts in the hood, bumper, and fenders enhance handling stability. The transmission cooling in GR-DAT automatic models is further optimized through an air-cooled fluid cooler, complemented by a water-cooled fluid warmer and cooler to keep operating temperatures at their best.
Inside, the GR Corolla offers a driver-centric environment, with a cockpit designed to foster a close connection between the car and its driver. Intuitive controls, supportive sports seats, and an 8-inch high-definition Display Audio system ensure easy access to navigation and vehicle information.
The cabin also offers versatile cargo options with 60/40 split-folding rear seats. Fold one seat for long, narrow items, fold both for larger loads, or adjust as needed for family trips and shopping, combining performance with everyday practicality.
Interior & Exterior Colors
The GR Corolla is available in four bold exterior colors; Precious Metal, Platinum White Pearl Mica, Emotional Red, and Precious Black. Inside, drivers can choose between Black or Black & Red interiors, highlighting the car’s sporty, performance-driven character.
Smart Safety & Confident Driving
Safety is core pillar of the GR lineup. The GR Corolla comes with Toyota Safety Sense, a full suite of driver-assistance and safety technologies designed to promote confidence in every driving condition. This includes:
